Candid Day in the Life Family Photos
Family Documentary Sessions are perfect for families who want to document the season of life they are in. Sessions are in-home or in-neighborhood. Documentary style family session activities can be discussed with Stacie. Most families choose to read books together, cuddle on the couch, walk the neighborhood, get ice cream or coffee, play games. You are welcome to dress up or keep it casual.

These sessions do include those classic smiling at the camera photos, but they also document you and your child’s real unposed relationship. We want to freeze in time your child’s energy, personality, and favorite things. Unlike traditional family photo sessions in New York City, We are not fighting for your children’s attention, we are letting them be themselves and interact with you and your family. Giving your child time to warm up to a camera being around is essential to getting sweet smiling photos of them later in the session. Stacie is familiar with working with families with children of all abilities and especially enjoys working with families who have children on the spectrum.

I recommend booking for one hour to 90 minutes for un-rushed family sessions, especially if you want photos in your home and your neighborhood.
